Meet Chrissy, Minds Matter Cleveland Class of 2019! Chrissy is a recent Euclid High School graduate and will attend Ohio University in the fall! Chrissy plans to study Journalism and African American Studies. For her MInds Matter summer program, Chrissy studied journalism at University of California Berkeley while she was in high school.

Chrissy on Minds Matter: “When I think of Minds Matter, it motivates me to think that anything is possible for me, no matter what I look like or what my circumstances are. I can be successful in life because of my ability and drive to learn.”

She inspired me through our years at Minds Matter by the way she developed her voice through writing, persevered in new environments, and thought deeply about the world around her.
