Lamia

Lamia will soon graduate from Cleveland School of Science and Medicine at John Hay. Over the past three years, Lamia has been conducting polymer engineering research after school at Case Western Reserve University. This fall, Lamia will attend The Ohio State University with a full scholarship! She plans to major in Engineering, with a goal of pursuing a career in the medical field.

In her experience with Minds Matter, Lamia is thankful for the valuable college admissions test preparation, the life advice, and the unforgettable relationships that she has built with her mentors and peers. “Minds Matter has shown me that the world is a big place through the summer programs. There are so many opportunities available out there, I just have to step outside of my comfort zone.”

In her spare time, Lamia enjoys baking cupcakes and listening to music She also likes traveling whenever she has a chance to.
