Stephanie

Stephanie P. is a graduating senior at MC²STEM High School. She serves as team captain for the robotics team and yearbook editor for her class. Outside of schoolwork and extracurricular activities, she also has a part time job at Party City.

This fall, she will be joining the class of 2021 at Allegheny College to pursue a degree in Psychology. She is interested in pursuing a career as either a professor or forensic psychologist. “I’m interested in these two paths because I have a passion for understanding how criminal minds work and think, but I would also love to teach people about how amazing psychology is, and hopefully inspire others to seek for professions in psychology as well!”

Stephanie thoroughly enjoyed her time spent with Minds Matter on Saturdays, from learning ACT math to participating in mentoring sessions. She expressed major gratitude towards Minds Matter, her mentors, and fellow students for helping her get to where she is in life today. “I love that there are so many dedicated people who have volunteered to help us grow and prepare us to succeed in life since orientation day all the way to graduation day. I can finally say that I’m proud of myself and my accomplishments because Minds Matter taught me to take pride in all the good things I’ve done and accomplished!”

Fun fact: Stephanie loves cats and has one named Nemesis!
