Mekdes

Meet Mekdes, Minds Matter Cleveland Class of 2019. She will be attending the College of Wooster this fall. For her Minds Matter summer program, Mekdes attended Ithaca College to study digital photography while she was in high school.

From Her Mentors Jillian Kates and Hannah Watene: “We are inspired by how much Mekdes has grown into her own during her time with Minds Matter. She has always been a dedicated student, hard worker, and independently motivated to explore new opportunities, which will serve her well at Wooster. Her quick wit is often hidden by her quiet personality but those who know her best are familiar with her humor. It has been a joy to see Mekdes blossom and we can’t wait to hear about what she accomplishes next.”
