Sha'

Sha’ S. is a graduating senior at John Hay High School. This fall, Sha’ will attend Berea College, where she plans to major in Psychology with a goal to pursue a career in the medical field.

Reflecting on her experience with Minds Matter, Sha’ shared: “Minds Matter gave me educational, mentoring, and professional development experiences that would have not been available to me if I wasn’t chosen to be in the program. My favorite part of Minds Matter is the college summer program, where I got to meet and build connections with different people from all over the world.”

Fun fact: Sha’ has traveled to different places in the States and outside of the country. She looks forward to study aboard in college.

From her mentor, Ashley Stephens: “It has been a pleasure watching Shá develop into the young woman she is today. As she enters into adulthood and becomes a college student at Berea College I want to urge her to strive for greatness in everything she does! I will miss her greatly at Saturday sessions but I will be keeping in touch as she embarks on her new journey. Looking forward to see what the next four years have in store for you. ”

Congratulations Sha’ S. and best wishes on your continuous endeavors!
